In the interior of the Center-South, a sick country boy, with no money or profession, nicknamed Manelão, is hired by rich landowners interested in settling family scores and personal revenge. Manelão hardly speaks, and his silence as a killer has a mark: he tears off the victim’s ear and hands it over to the person who ordered the death.
