Film Exhibition
Paul Schrader Marathon
Museum of Image and Sound — SP | 2012

A retrospective of the work of screenwriter and director Paul Schrader, one of the most important names in the “new Hollywood,” responsible for important scripts such as Martin Scorsese’s "Taxi Driver" (1976) and Brian De Palma’s "Obsession" (1976). Although he gained fame as a screenwriter, Paul Schrader also has a vast filmography as a director, having helmed over fifteen films. The retrospective featured the honoree, who gave a masterclass on screenwriting, filmmaking, and the behind-the-scenes of Hollywood productions. The curators were Carlos Reichenbach and Eugenio Puppo.
