CARLOS HUGO CHRISTENSEN RETROSPECTIVE

The retrospective showed in film stocks the movies by the Argentinian filmmaker, Carlos Hugo Christensen, shot in Argentina, Chile, Peru, Venezuela and Brazil, where he produced several masterpieces such as Mãos Sangrentas - Bloody Hands (1962) and O menino e o Vento - The boy and the wind (1954). He changed countries, languages and genres; nevertheless, his films always kept his personal and transgressive style, mastering the technical aspects as well as the discourse and narrative.
